BioCatch Named to Deloitte's 2020 Technology Fast 500™

NEW YORK, NEW YORK and TEL AVIV, ISRAEL (November 18, 2020) – BioCatch, the global leader in behavioral biometrics, announced today that it has been named to Deloitte’s 2020 Technology Fast 500™ list honoring the most innovative and fastest growing technology companies in North America that are disrupting the industry.

This recognition comes as BioCatch’s category-defining behavioral biometrics technology is more vital than ever due to a rise in cyberattacks as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. BioCatch protects more than 40 of the world’s largest financial institutions, their clients and their clients’ assets from online banking fraud and other types of criminal activity, including sophisticated social engineering voice scams. Unlike traditional digital security methods such as usernames and passwords, which are easily compromised, behavioral biometrics monitors user behavior throughout each online session, providing continuous protection and ensuring a seamless and secure online experience. The company’s robust data set makes it far and away the industry leader, with over 150 million individual behavioral profiles and more than a billion digital sessions per month analyzed.

“We are honored to be included in Deloitte’s prestigious list of the most transformative and disruptive companies in the industry,”said Chairman & CEO Howard Edelstein. “At BioCatch, we have been at the forefront of innovation and customer service for nearly a decade, relentlessly developing new behavior-based solutions using powerful artificial intelligence and machine learning to solve the toughest cybersecurity challenges and protect our growing roster of global clients from the most sophisticated cyberattacks.”

“For more than 25 years, we’ve been honoring companies that define the cutting edge and this year’s Technology Fast 500 list is proof positive that technology — from software and digital media platforms, to biotech — truly does permeate so many facets of our lives,” said Paul Silverglate, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP and U.S. technology sector leader. “We congratulate this year’s winners, especially during a time when innovation is needed more than ever to address the monumental challenges posed by the pandemic.”

Now in its 26th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 provides one of the most objective rankings for technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy tech companies. It was created to recognize the effort, dedication, and resiliency of the most innovative technology companies—both public and private—in North America. In order to be eligible for the award, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company's operating revenues and winners are selected based on the company’s percentage fiscal-year revenue growth over a three-year period.
